The competition took place on International Mother Language Day, which falls on February 21st. Children of all ages were encouraged to participate, and there were different age categories to ensure fair judging. The competition centered around the theme of celebrating the beauty and importance of mother languages, providing children with an opportunity to explore and honor their own linguistic heritage.
Participants have the freedom to use various painting mediums, such as watercolors, acrylics, or even digital art. The judging panel evaluates the artworks based on their originality, creativity, and how effectively they communicate the theme.
The Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Manchester is committed to promoting cultural diversity, inclusivity, and the preservation of mother languages. This competition provides a wonderful platform for children to engage with these values and express themselves through art.
