Bangla Centre organised a consular service on 23 February to help the expatriate Bangladeshi nationals living in Greater Glasgow, Edinburgh, Abardeen, Dundee, and from other areas of Scotland. Bangla Centre offers this service in Scotland twice a year and it is provided by the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Manchester.

          On 23 February 2020, Bangla Centre, in collaboration with the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Manchester, organised the ‘Mujib Borsho Children’s Art Competition’. A total of 38 children enthusiastically participated in the competition. The Assistant High Commissioner Mr. Abu Nasar Md. Anowarul Islam was the chief guest in the event.

              For the last 21 years, Bangla Centre, in collaboration with the Glasgow Gaelic School, has been successfully organising and celebrating the International Mother Language Day.
